FAQs

Do you offer a military discount?

We do! All active and former military members will receive 10% off of any products/services they purchase.

What do I need to bring when I board my dog?

-Shot Records (if we do not have them on file already)

-Food (we can provide house food for $5/day, but it’s better for your pup to stay on the diet they are used to)

-A Slow Feeder if it is used at home

-1 or 2 toys if you choose, but we cannot guarantee that they will come back home :)

-Medication, along with specific directions for us to administer it

-Please do not bring beds or blankets. We have plenty, and we will provide them upon request.

What shots are required?

We require that your hound be up to date on their Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccinations.

Is day play included in the boarding price?

Yes!

Can I email you my hound’s shot records?

Absolutely! All shot records can be sent to hoffshounds@gmail.com

I can’t see my dog on your cameras. Where are they?

There are places in our Bark that are outside of the camera angles. If you watch long enough, they’ll come back into view. There is also the possibility that our staff made a decision to give your hound a break. You are always welcome to call and check in, and we will let you know what is happening!

Is my dog going to come home dirty?

We do everything in our power to make sure your dog goes home as clean as possible. If your dog is muddy when we bring them out to you, just ask us and we can rinse them off! We can’t guarantee a squeaky clean hound, but we will do our best :)

How do pick-up day charges work?

If you pick up between 9-noon (Boarding check-outs begin at 9 AM), we do not charge you for the day. If you pick up after noon, it is a $29 charge (our full day day play rate).

What if my dog doesn’t like other dogs?

While your hound won’t be able to participate in day play, we do make sure they get plenty of human cuddles, several walks a day, and some free time out in The Bark while others are napping.
